Hello and welcome. I'm Randy Orr, Founder of Tilano Decorative Products.

Back in 1997, as a Master Decorative Artist (see my blog and the creative projects I work on) and after a lot of trial and error, I developed a commercial transfer process for making Old World fresco tiles. The best part was that this process did not require any special machinery or harsh chemicals.

I then started to transfer photos of friends and families to the tiles and gave them away as gifts. They were so well received that soon people were bombarding me with custom orders. "Wouldn't it be great," I thought, "if I could simplify the process so anyone could do what I do."

In 2001, I developed the first Tilano kit - everything for the do-it-yourselfer to make beautiful photo transfers at home. Since then, the Tilano has developed 11 other Tilano kits. Each one providing a unique way to display your photos.
